Am letzten Wochenende im Juli 2013 bebte in Mendig zuletzt die Erde beim zweiten "Nacht-der-Vulkane-Event". Drei Jahre sind vergangen, und es ist Zeit fĂŒr eine Wiederholung
.
Am 31.07.2010 drehte sich in der kleinen Bierbrauerstadt Mendig alles um Vulkane. Aus einer dummen Idee, einem zufĂ€llig nutzbaren kleinen Lost-Place und viel Energie eines groĂen Orga- und Helferteams entstand das MEGA-Event Nacht der Vulkane 2010 und die Nacht der Vulkane 2013 (ebenfalls MEGA). Völlig kostenfrei tummelten sich mehr als 2000 Geocacher von Freitagabend bis Sonntagmittag in der Mendiger BrauerstraĂe und Umgebung.
Nun kehrt die "Nacht der Vulkane" zurĂŒck!
Am Samstag, den 30. Juli 2016, wird die Erde wieder beben. Von 10.00 Uhr bis zum Vulkanausbruch am Abend (23.00 Uhr) ist die Location geöffnet. Wer mag, kann auch gern bereits am Freitag, den 29. Juli, zum Meet & Greet anreisen oder am 31. Juli das Wochenende mit uns zu einem gelungenen Abschluss bringen (Infos folgen).

Neben schönen "alten" Geocaches, einer sehenswerten Vulkanlandschaft und geologische Highlights wie Laacher See, Wingertsbergwand, Lavakeller usw. bereichern einige Aussteller unser Event.
UnterstĂŒtzt werden wir von der Verbandsgemeinde Mendig sowie der Stadt Mendig, und mit viel GlĂŒck bekommen wir auch noch Ăberraschungsbesuch.

Three years have gone by since July 2013, when the earth trembled at the scond âNight of the Volcanoesâ. Now itâs time for a remake.
At 31st of july 2010 everything in the little brewer city Mendig centered on volcanoes. Starting with a crazy idea, a randomly usable little abandoned place and much power of a great organization and volunteer team the MEGA-Event Night of the volcanoes 2010 and night of the volcanoes 2013 (also MEGA) came into being. Totally for free from Friday evening till Sunday noon over 2000 Geocacher sojourned the Mendiger brewer street and environment
Now, the Night of the Volcanoes is back!
At Saturday, 30th of july 2016, the earth will tremble again. The location will be open from 10:00 am to the melting out in the evening (23:00 pm). If you like to you can also arrive to the Meet & Greet at Friday, 29th of july and take part till Sunday 31st of july to bring the event to a successful close (further information will follow).

n addition to lovely long standing geocaches, worth seeing volcanic region and geologic spots like Laacher See, Wingertsbergwand, Lava cellar etc., our event is enriched by several exhibitors.
We are supported by the municipality and the urban municipality of Mendig and with best of luck we might present special guests.

Dat is Kowelenz am 23.07.2016. AuĂerdem wird es in der Woche zwischen den beiden Hauptevents zahlreiche kleinere Events in der Region geben. Eine gute Gelegenheit also, beide Eventwochenenden miteinander zu verbinden!
