Located a bit beyond the normal, well know spot at Vento's View. You and Vento will not be one or on the same level when you find this cache. However, you don't need to take any dangerous drops to get to this one either.
We really like Vento's view -- great little hike on a hard packed trail to a spectacular view over the Mississippi River valley and Pickerel Lake. I read that the giant stone blocks you find there are from buildings that were knocked down in St. Paul to make way for newer construction. Kids love it, dogs love it, and if you're angling a walk with more elevation change, take a trip down to the clay pits and fossil beds below.
This is a fairly large cache - chock full of kids toys!
Note: reports of poison ivy in the area. Keep your eyes open!
