Horaires des marées / Tide table
La cache se trouve dans une petite anfractuosité de rocher, le long d'une paroi relativement abrupte. Le petit îlot qui l'abrite est le dernier avant la pleine mer, et également le plus avancé dans celle-ci. Autant dire que pour y accéder, il est crucial de connaître les horaires des marées, et de préparer son excursion patiemment pour ne pas se faire surprendre par la marée qui, à cet endroit, monte particulièrement rapidement... Le risque étant de se trouver bloqué sur l'île, et d'attendre la prochaine marée descendante. L'île est partie prenante d'un petit chapelet d'îlots. L'île Illiec, remarquable pour son majestueux sillon de galets, l'île du Milieu et l'île Saint-Gildas. Prévoir des bottes pour la traversée !
PS: en venant ou en repartant ne manquez pas de jeter un coup d'oeil au manoir qui se trouve au bout du long sillon de galets (île Illiec). Le grand aviateur Charles Lindbergh y habita de nombreuses années...
The geocache is in a small crevice of rock, along a relatively abrupt rock. The small island which shelters it is the last before the sea, and also the most advanced in this one. In other words that to reach it, it is crucial to know the schedules of tides, and to prepare his excursion patiently not to be surprised by the tide which, in this place, rises particularly quickly... The risk is to be block on the island, and to wait for the next low tide. The island is in the middle of a group of marvellous islands. The island Illiec, remarkable for the majestic furrow of pebbles, the island du Milieu and the island of Saint-Gildas. Plan boots for the crossing ! PS: coming, or leaving, do not forget to take a look at the mansion which is at the end of the great furrow of pebbles (Illiec island). The great aviator Charles Lindbergh lived there for many years...
