Geocache Description:

This cache is located across the street from the Harold Washington Library Center - the South Loop location of the Chicago Public Library.

According to the the Guinness Book of Records, the Harold Washington Library Center (HWLC) has been noted as the world's largest public library building. There's free books, movies, museum passes, and so much more that can be checked out with a library card. If something you want isn't there, one of the nice librarians will order it for you. It's a pretty good deal. Reading is good for you, too. Keeps the mind active. Studies have actually shown that reading stimulates your brain, allowing your mind to remain sharp even into old age. The coordinates were tweaked using Google Satellite maps. It's a good idea to take a look at this map yourself. Your GPSr may not be of much help, due to the number of tall buildings in the area. I bumped up the difficulty rating an extra half star because this is a high muggle area. Please use extreme stealth, thanks! ************************************************************************************** If you suspect a container is missing, contact the CO to get the OK for a replacement. If you do not have the means to contact the CO from the field, you may drop a replacement and obtain permission before logging your find. There is ALWAYS some way to leave your mark on a log. No found logs will be accepted that say that the finder did not sign the log for any reason (forgot pen, log full, etc.). Thanks! ************************************************************************************** Congrats to Tzinny for FTF!
