This cache was placed to increase the number of larger caches in an otherwise micro dominated cityscape.
From this location you can safely observe a trio of steel lattice radio masts. Did you know that the terms "mast" and "tower" are often used interchangeably but a tower is actually a self-supporting structure? A mast is supported by several wires called "guy-wires" or "guys." This makes these kinds of transmitters much cheaper to build but they require more land to accommodate the guys and the anchors that hold them in place. Towers are more frequently used in cities where land is in short supply so this is a special treat for you!
If that wasn't enough to make your day, keep your eyes peeled for a family of stray cats in the alley that just had kittens. The mother is a black cat who is wary of humans so please do not attempt to pet her or her kittens; just view from the distance and try not to disturb them :)
