Geocache Description:

Welcome to the World Wide Flash Mob 7!

(Dozens of events all around the world will be coordinated to happen at the same time.) flash mob (FLASH mawb) n. A large group of people who gather in a usually predetermined location, perform some brief (and usually pointless) action, and then quickly disperse. This event is only 15 minutes long!!! You MUST be present and drop a log sheet into the can during this time to claim the event.

Please arrive a few minutes early and mill about, parking is availible behind the park, in the lot and on the street.

At precisely 10:00am PST on Saturday, May 15th, we will place the open container at the coordinates and **** Start of event will be SO obvious, you'll only miss it if you're 100% deaf. And maybe not even then**** This will be the signal that the event has started. Please bring a logsheet with you so that you can drop it into the can.

At 10:02am the level 4.5 difficulty earns it's title when the mad paper folding skills will take place for 5 minutes. You'll have time to fold any type of paper airplane you want and test it out. *Rules below* No need to bring anything but your memory, creativity and nimble fingers. Standard 8.5 x 11 paper will be provided as well as paper clips to use as weights if desired.

At 10:07am the race will begin!

10:11am After all planes have been thrown and measured 3 winners will be named. Prizes for first, second and third will be given out. Along with the event FTF drawing.

Don't save too much room at breakfast, bottled water and homemade cookies will be given, but those won't exactly make a meal!**Updated** Chocolate chip cookies, homemade granola bars and lemon-cherry muffins are now on the menu!!

10:14am Time for a group photo with our planes!

10:15am .....DISPERSE!

If you haven't figured it out yet, we're having a Paper Airplane Race. Can't fold a paper airplane? ME EITHER, but here's some handy sites:

Paper_Plane

at the request of some, the rules are being added here: Every one participating will be given 5 minutes to fold and test their airplanes. Each airplane may only be composed of 1 (one) sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch copy paper which will be provided and 2 paper clips which will also be provided. You may make and test as many planes as you wish but you may only enter one. No addition items may be added to your plane for the race, this includes but is not limited to: Juice, water, your own spit (or others), coins, leaves, sticks, glue, additional paper, rocks, dirt, grass....That's all I can think of. You get the point I hope. Nothing but 1 sheet of paper and 2 paper clips. Any plane that is found to have flown with prohibited items on board will be disqualified. Yup, we're worse than the TSA. Before the race, when you have chosen your plane for flight, you MUST write your name or other identifying mark on your plane, how else will we know who wins? Markers will be provided for this as well. Good luck and happy folding! HPIM5806
