be SO obvious, you'll only miss it if you're 100% deaf. And maybe
not even then**** This will be the signal that the event has
started. Please bring a logsheet with you so that you can drop it
into the can.

10:14am Time for a group photo with our planes!
10:15am .....DISPERSE!
If you haven't figured it out yet, we're having a Paper Airplane
Race. Can't fold a paper airplane? ME EITHER, but here's some handy
sites:

http://jdcard.com/engl3007/airplane.htm
http://www.10paperairplanes.com/
at the request of some, the rules are being added here: Every one
participating will be given 5 minutes to fold and test their
airplanes. Each airplane may only be composed of 1 (one) sheet of
8.5 x 11 inch copy paper which will be provided and 2 paper clips
which will also be provided. You may make and test as many planes
as you wish but you may only enter one. No addition items may be
added to your plane for the race, this includes but is not limited
to: Juice, water, your own spit (or others), coins, leaves, sticks,
glue, additional paper, rocks, dirt, grass....That's all I can
think of. You get the point I hope. Nothing but 1 sheet of paper
and 2 paper clips. Any plane that is found to have flown with
prohibited items on board will be disqualified. Yup, we're worse
than the TSA. Before the race, when you have chosen your plane for
flight, you MUST write your name or other identifying mark on your
plane, how else will we know who wins? Markers will be provided for
this as well. Good luck and happy folding!
