Geocache Description:

The church of St Peters in Hepworth

St Peter's is a 13thc church and was burnt down in 1898 when its thatch caught fire, and only the tower, the walls and the porch survived the blaze. It was rebuilt by J. S. Corder of Ipswich.

This cache site is located near to some current tree felling, however there is no need to go on, near or through this area or any of the waste material. The cache is easily located from the footpath.
