[LV]17.gadsimta sakas Manteifelu dinastija, kas turpinajas lidz 20. gs. sakumam. Manteifeli bija vieni no lielakiem zemes ipašniekiem Kurzeme. Kaut gan vecakie gimenes dokumenti ir no I520. gada, kad Manteifeli dzivojuši Kazdanga. Kazdangas Manteifeli ir ieguvuši loti lielus ipašumus Kurzeme, muižas pirktas un pardotas, bet divas no tam ir palikušas par majorata muižam - Kazdanga un Cirava, kuras nedrikst pariet citas gimenes ipašuma. Pili nesen majvietu atradis Meža muzejs.Ar Kazdangas vardu saistita baronu Manteifelu dzimta, savulaik bijusi loti progresiva saimniekošana un verienigi attistijusi muižu.
Barona Manteifela 19.gs. beigas ierikotais parks ir ne tikai lielakais Latvija, bet ari viens no dendrologiski bagatakajiem un vecakajiem. Parka teritorija atradisiet ari pieminas zimes J.Mežsetam, J.Šeferam un ozolus, kas staditi K.Ulmana un J.Baloža pieminai.
Piedavajam pastaigu cauri skaistajam Kazdangas parkam lidz grotai. Parks sakts veidot jau 18.gs. Sastav no vairakam dalam. Uz galamerki ved dažadas takas un celini. Grota barons pec rita izjades dzera teju un klausijas, ko pili runa.
Dotas koordinatas Jus aizvedis lidz Grotai, kur Jums jaatrod caurules formas konteiners ar talakam noradem un apskates objekta aprakstu.
Slepnis ir neliela plastmasas kastite ar logbooku un zimuli, dažiem sikumiem mainai.
[ENG]The dynasty of Manteuffel began on 17th century and was continuing till 20th century. Manteuffels was ones of the biggest landowners in Kurzeme. Even though the oldest family documents are from year 1520 when Manteuffels lived in Kazdanga. The Manteuffels from Kazdanga have got very big demesnes – they sold and bought the manor houses a lot, but two of them were kept entail – Kazdanga and Cirava. No one of them could be sold to any other family. The Manteuffel baron kin related to name of Kazdanga was very progressive in management and evolved the manor house very professionally.
The park established by baron Manteuffel at the end of 19th century wasn’t only the biggest in Latvia, but also one of the oldest with very rich dendrology. In park you will also find memorial planks for J. Mežseta, J. Šefers, big oaks which were planted in memory of K. Ulmanis and J. Balodis. We offer you a great walk through beautiful park of Kazdanga up to grotto. Establishment of park was already started on 18th century. It consists of several parts. Several paths are leading to the destination. The baron after morning horse ride was drinking tea in the grotto and listening what people are talking in the castle.
Given coordinates will lead you to the grotto where you should find a container of cylindrical form to get the next coordinates and object description.
Cache is a small plastic box with log book and pencil and also with some small things for exchange.
