Souradnice vás zavedou do oblasti s pozustatky bývalé trate Kurim-Veverská Bitýška, zrušené v roce 1936 a tzv. Hitlerovy dálnice, která nebyla nikdy dostavena.

Z duvodu bujné letní vegetace a také negativních komentáru (a následného znicení) jsme posunuli cache na prístupnejší místo - pro kola drive-in. Cache se nachází vedle cyklostezky c. 5231 vedoucí z Brna pres Kurim, Moravské Knínice do Veverské Bitýšky. Je umístena u Moravských Knínic, poblíž místa, kde se potkávaly 2 stavby, které v soucasnosti neexistují. Byla to železnice Kurim-Veverská Bitýška, která byla uvedena do provozu v roce 1911, provoz byl ukoncen v roce 1936. V roce 1940 byla obnovena cást Kurim-Moravské Knínice pro potreby stavby tzv. Hitlerovy dálnice (soucasné spory o rychlostní silnici R43). Kousek od místa cache by se tyto stavby krížily. Ale ani k tomu by asi nikdy nedošlo, protože pri stavbe dálnice byla už železnice zrušená a fungovalo pravdepodobne jen zásobování stavby. Pekný železnicní mostek mužete videt bud na fotografii-kopii v keši, v listingu, nebo mimo vegetacní období na souradnicích N 49° 17.862 E 016° 30.465 (cca 500 m od místa, kde stojíte). Kde stojíte mužete videt práve pozustatky dálnice a dálnicního mostu pres potok Kurimku a pripravený násep pro most pres silnici Kurim-Moravské Knínice. V cache mužete najít i kopii historické a soucasné mapy(kopii prosím neodnášejte).
Zajímavostí je, že hodne cástí cyklostezky 5231 vede po stopách bývalých železnic (jak v oblasti Jehnic, Ceské, tak v pokracování z Moravských Knínic smerem do Chudcic). V oblasti za Moravskými Knínicemi je snad nejviditelnejší násep a trasa s mosty dnes již zrušené železnice.
Pokud jste autem (pešky ci na kole), na odlovení je nejlepší zacít na polní ceste mezi Kurimí a Moravskými Knínicemi. Pokud by opravdu nekdo chtel videt mostek na vlastní oci - na souradnicích N 49 17.790 E: 16 30.109 muže zacít a vydat se kousek po polní ceste – po bývalé trati na výše uvedené souradnice.

Because of some negative comments, destroying the cache and the huge vegetation during the summer months we moved the cache near the road - for bicycles drive-in. This cache ist possible to find on the bicycle track Nr. 5231 from Brno, via Kurim, Moravské Knínice to Veverská Bitýška. Cache is situated by the village Moravské Knínice near the place, where could be the crossing of the 2 constructions, which doesnt exist now. It was the railway Kurim-Veverská Bitýška, worked between 1911-1936. In 1940 was temporary in operation because of construction former Hitler highway (now controversy topic). Near in the crossing (about 500 m away), you can find the cache. But the crossing is only imaginary – when was the construction of the highway, the railway already wasnt operate. Very interesting are the former small railway bridge (see the picture in the cache, or in this listing), rest of the highway bridge over river Kurimka (you are here) and the rest of the causeway. There is also a part of old and actual map in the cache (please don’t take it away)
Very interesting is, that many parts of this cyclo track 5231 copies the former railways (in region Jehnice, Ceská, part Moravské Knínice to Chudcice, etc.). Just behind Moravské Knínice towards Chudcice, you can see the former railway very well (causway and bridges).
If you are by car (bicycle or by foot), you can start on the field road between Kurim and village Moravské Knínice and make a short walk thrue the fieldroad. If somebody would like to go direct to the railway bridge, best way is from coordinate N 49 17.790 E: 16 30.109.
