Geocache Description:

A Shady Cache At The Foot Of The Stairs

Remember when your mother would tell you not to run down the stairs? Or run up them?

Well, these are a bit more than you had in your house, unless you were a Rockefeller. Going up these fast is a challenge and going down them, well very exciting if on a bike, or risking your ankle while on foot. I've hiked this trail and biked it dozens of time and well remember this section I call The Stairs, for there are three steps, which may not be too apparent from the photo, but when you are going up on a bike on a hot day, you'll feel them. And when you go rocketing down them there are distinct bumps.

Take care, for that sandstone is rough in places and there is usually a thin path for those who want to pass through it easy.

The cache is in a shady area, which is often well appreciated in the summer months as a resting place along the trail. It is above ground, so please don't go overturning things and disrupting the tranquility of the critters that live under the old branches.
