Piglet was the best kind of
dog - loyal, obedient & protective of his family. He loved to
go for long walks, especially in Pocahontas State Park. This cache
is located on Beaver Lake Trail at a beautiful resting spot for
both dogs and people. Honor Piglet and all good dogs by enjoying
the beauty at one of Piglet's favorite resting spots. Bring a
picnic or a good book and take a load off.
This cache was placed with permission of
the Pocahontas State Park Manager. There is a small daily parking
fee or support the State Parks and get an annual
pass.
I took 6 readings with 2 different gps devices on 2
different days and was getting a lot of bounce. So just in case of
problems - There is no need to leave the trail and there is no need
to get anywhere near the cliff in order to find this
cache.
