Havdrup Kildeplads
Københavns kildepladser er små naturområder i landskabet og fungerer som spredningsveje for planter og dyr. Havdrup Kildeplads er en af 55 kildepladser, der er fordelt ud over store dele af Sjælland, hvor Københavns Energi årligt indvinder mere end 54 mil m3 vand fra cirka 700 boringer.

Vandet kan drikkes direkte fra boringen, men sendes gennem sandfiltre for at udlede jern og mangan, der ikke i sig selv er sundhedsskadelige stoffer, men som kan misfarve vasketøj og vvs installationer. Vandet sendes desuden igennem pumpestationer og vandværker for at ilte vandet yderligere. Herefter ledes det igennem ca. 1.100 km forsyningsledninger direkte ud til forbrugerne.

Cirka 1 million kunder i København og omliggende kommuner modtager vand fra Københavns Energi.

Havdrup Kildeplads er et pragtfuldt sted at gå en tur, her er både mulighed for at strække ben og øjne. Har du hund er det oplagt at tage den med til denne cache, da området er meget hundevenligt. Turen fra det anbefalede parkeringskoordinat til cachen er ca. 1 km, men vi anbefaler naturligvis at du tager hele turen igennem kildepladsen, hvilket gør turen cirka dobbelt så lang.

Havdrup well site
Copenhagen well sites are small sites in the landscape and serve as pathways for plants and animals. Havdrup well site is one of the 55 well sites, spread out over large parts of Zealand, from where Copenhagen Energy annually pumps more than 54 mil m3 water from approximately 700 wells.

The water can be drunk directly from the well, but is passed through sand filters to derive iron and manganese, which is not in itself harmful substances, but may discolor laundry and plumbing installations. The water then pass through pump stations and waterworks through 1100 km supply lines directly to the consumers.

Approximately 1 million customers in Copenhagen and surrounding municipalities receive water from Copenhagen Energy.

Havdrup well site is also a wonderful place to stroll, here are both the opportunity to stretch your legs and eyes. If you have a dog, then bring it, because the area is very dog friendly. The trip from the recommended parking site to the cache is about 1 km, but of course we recommend you to take the whole trip through the well site, which then makes the trip twice as long.
