Geocache Description:

It's a nice walk to this cache when the weather is kind!

Keep your eye out for the wildlife

Where the bridleway meets a footpath not too far from GC23TFT.

It's a great walk whatever direction you choose to approach from.

Near the old quarry with its abundance of wildlife.
A calm and tranquil place to visit.

My favourite circular walk for this one is to park in Longhoughton village behind the Spar and follow the footpath under the railway bridge and up the hill to the 'Longhoughton View' cache, from there head around the southern edge of the quarry stopping to enjoy the peace and say hello to the swans. From the main quarry access road head North on the bridleway, stop off for this cache then continue North East, back under the railway and follow the road back into Longhoughton.

A small cache contains some small tradeable items.

Congratulations Synders - FTF!

Please keep GeoDogs on the lead if you follow the path through the sheep's field.

Please watch the GeoKids around the quarry, it's pretty safe but there are some sheer drops and deep water to be found if you stray too far from the paths.
