Roque Taborno (Up close & Familiar)6 Years later Traditional Geocache

This is a great, high altitude walking circuit with some spectacular views.

Roque Taborno can be seen from a long way off and is a familiar waypoint to many walkers.

Wow!.....The Sight as you arrive

This high altitude walk should take no more then 3 hours including time to picnic and take photos.

There is a little bit of scrambling to do and people who suffer vertigo should take their time and be accompanied.

Although this area is off the beaten track there is a fine 'French Restaurant' and a 'chiringuito' handy for a beer afterwards.

Parking is close by and it gives you the chance to grab the 'Earthcache' Roque de Taborno by Blaubär & Biene (GC246CY) all ot the same time!

Please do not go during heavy rain, when there is a risk of clouding over or dark is approaching.
