It was such a nice walk along the paved path to the FSC New Castle
cache that occured shortly after the paving of the path ended.
Only the path didnt end, it kept going for almost 0.2 miles
ending at the industrial complex. This section was still on the
raised elevation from the very old diking along the river but swung
away from the river and went through a very nice marsh.
Being retired and not in any rush to get the FSC caches I
explored down this trail and just happened to have film container
and log with me. I figured this was a much better use of the
container that was going to be an after event cache.
Use the parking coordinates for the FSC cache or if you want a
really long walk, you can start in Battery Park in New Castle.
NOTE: This is NOT an FSC cache, it is just an extra cache to get
if you are nearby.
NOTE: the cache is now a large size pill bottle painted brown.
During the summer, the trail can get somewhat overgrown.
