This is a 2.5 mile multicache adventure in the Fair Hill Natural
Resource Management Area that will help you polish-up on your map,
compass, and GPS skills.
It is essential that you acquire a compass and a Fair Hill trail
map. The trail maps can be obtained for a fee from any ranger or at
the park office behind the Fair Hill Inn restaurant located at the
intersection of Rt. 273 and Rt. 213. You may also call (410)
398-1246 for a map. The trail map will definitely aid you in
picking the easiest and dryest route to each geocache.
There are four geocaches in clear tupperware-type containers
with lids. The first three give only information to the next
geocache. The fourth and last geocache has all the goodies. Please
log your visit and let us know about your adventure.
*There is a $4 per vehicle daily use fee that must be paid at
the parking lot*
For optimum enjoyment please park at the Covered Bridge parking
lot at: N 39* 42.613' W 075* 50.272'
(If you wish to start-out with only a map and compass then from the
parking lot go 314* mag. at a distance of .45 mile to the first
geocache.)
**NOTE: There are now even more geocaches at Fair Hill. For the
price of gas and parking you can now get around a dozen
geocaches.**
