The cache is located in Dewiltd trust area!On one of the bike/quad trails!
The cache is best accesable with a bike/quad but hiking and an mountain bike will work aswell!
There is only one place for offroad bike riding in this Country and that is DE WILDT. Situated on the North Western side of Pretoria and very close to the Marula Sun Casino. If you haven't riden at De Wildt then you haven't riden at all. This is off road paradise!!!. It has good river bed sections, open and flat sections, rocks and climbing, whatever you can think of. Routes vary from 50km to 180km. Specific loops such as the Sethale Loop and the Lethlakhane Loop have been opened to give riders a good opportunity to some excellent dry riverbed riding. You will never get tired of riding here as there is always something new to explore.
THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN RIDING IN DE WILDT
Due to this area being very popular for outrides, there has been a dramatic increase of bikes and quads using the trails in this area. In the last couple of months more accidents have happened as riders are traveling up & down the same tracks which have cause some head on collsions. Riders that have been riding here for years have become more aware of this situation and hopefully anticipate oncoming traffic to avoid accidents. .
The cache is situated on the 3fences loop!The terain is mostly for offroad bike's but it is posible for the ocasional mountain biker and hiker in the area.The best place to park your car is at S25 24.057 E27 52.920.This is at a little store where you can buy some cold drinks(beer) and it is safe to park there!.The cache is about 4.9km from this shop!
