Geocache Description:

This is our annual spring CITO event.

Meet at 8:30, plan to work until about noon.
April 17th, 2010, rain or shine.
Bring your own water.

We will be cleaning up litter along the bikepath from The Whittier Street peninsula that is being reclaimed to become the Scioto Audubon Metro Park. The bikepath is part of the Olentangy - Scioto multi use trail system through central Ohio. We'll work north, along the east side, to the confluence of the Olentangy and Scioto Rivers.

Young people are welcome to help. Parental or adult supervision will be required.

Enter the park from the intersection of South Front Street and West Whittier Street. The only signs you'll see are for the Police Impound Lot - head that way and follow your GPSr. We'll be meeting in the parking area adjacent to the Grange Insurance Audubon Center on the Whittier Street Peninsula.

We'll distribute supplies there and meet back there at the conclusion of our cleanup to go have lunch together.

If you have a Geocaching t-shirt, ballcap, or jacket, be sure to wear it.
