Collect the coordinates from the cache series of the Peaks of the Pori

Harjun alapuolella aaltoili aava merenlahti, jossa ei vielä näkynyt merkkiäkään
nykyisistä niittysaarista. Niin kauas kuin silmä kantoi, ulottui siintävää selkää luoteeseen,
jossa ainoastaan eräs pieni yksinäinen luoto, Luusouri, pisti aalloista näkyviin.
Tästä merenlahdesta haaraantui sisämaahan päin kaksi selkää, jotka ympäröivät
Pärnäisten maan pohjois- ja länsipuolelta. Pohjoinen, Harjunpäänlahdeksi
kutsuttu osa peitti vedellään suu ren osan nykyisen Ruosniemen niittyjä.
Läntinen, Pietniemen lahdeksi kutsuttu selkä taas ulottui koko sen lakeuden yli, joka sijaitsee Pietniemen ja Vähän-Rauman kylien välillä.
Pärnäisten maan itäpuolella levisi Herranlahti, vielä silloin suurena selkänä, jonka pinnan kalvoon Ulvilan kirkon nähtiin etäältä kuvastuvan.
Tällaiset olivat kaupungin lähimmät ympäristöt Juhana-herttuan aikana. Kaikista
maatumisista huolimatta oli Pärnäisten maa vielä saarena. Sen hiekkaharju,
melkeinpä ainoa kiinteä maa siinä lahtien, jokihaarojen, soiden ja kaislaisten
rantojen sokkelossa, joka siihen aikaan oli Kokemäenjoen suuna, hallitsi tosiaankin
meritietä Satakuntaan ja oli siten epäilemättä erinomainen paikka linnoitettavaksi.
Purkki on harjun korkeimmasta kohdasta 30m sivussa piiloitusteknisten seikkojen johdosta.Vihjekoordinaatit osoittavat purkkiin.

Below the ridge open sea waved. There were not a glimpse of current meadow islands. As far as could be seen towards south-west there was only one tiny islet, Luusouri, picking up from the waves. From this bay two openings divided towards inlands which surrounded the land of Päärnäinen from the north and west. The north side was called bay of Harjunpää. This bay covered most of current meadows in Ruosniemi. The western bay, bay of Pietniemi was extended over between current villages Pietniemi and Vähärauma.. On the east side there was Herranlahti as an opening of the sea where you could see the reflection the church of Ulvila. That was the lookout of the city at the time of Juhana-Herttua (founder of Pori). Despite all the elevation of the soil the land of Päärnäinen was an island. It’s sandy ridge was the nearly only solid ground within labyrinth of bay, river branches, swamps and reedy shores that was the mouth of the river. This ridge truly dominated the seaway into Satakunta and no doubt it was excellent place to fortify.
