Zoals met de meeste mysteries: de coördinaten hierboven zijn niet de coördinaten van de cache!
Schoonhoven is een stad met een lange historie. In 1247 wordt ze voor het eerst genoemd als Sconhouen. Heden ten dage is de lange historie nog altijd zichtbaar. Een blik op de luchtfoto zegt al genoeg.
Beroemde kartografen hebben de stad getekend. In een tijd zonder gps waren ze daar nog bijzonder goed in ook. Als je zo’n oude kaart over de huidige luchtfoto’s heen legt, sta je versteld hoe exact deze met elkaar overeenkomen.
Vergelijk de plekjes van toen met de plekjes van nu en je ontdekt de coördinaten van de cache, gelegen op een historisch plekje....

NB. De cache ligt op privé-terrein, maar is vanaf de openbare weg te loggen. Graven is niet nodig. De cachehuizing laten zitten en weer goed afsluiten s.v.p.

Let op als je de puzzel al even hebt liggen: na de herplaatsing op 9 okt 2010 heb ik de coördinaat in de puzzel iets verfijnd voor letter D en E. De checker geeft de oplossing van de nieuwe versie! Met de oude oplossing vind je de cache overigens ook wel.
