Depuis des siècles, voire des millénaires, des générations ont cherché ici, ont trouvé le divin.
Ce fut tout d’abord une forêt, une chênaie.
Un chêne majestueux était le symbole d’une présence mystérieuse, d’une énergie mystique.
Le dernier chêne pluri-séculaire abritait jusqu’au 19e siècle dans son flanc une statuette de la mère de Dieu.
La piété et la vénération se matérialisaient par une mer flamboyante de cierges.
L’arbre périt, brûlé par cette habitude en l’an 1898.
Son bois fut débité et gardé comme relique.

It was first of all a forest, an oak grove.
A majestic oak was the symbol of a mysterious presence, of a mystical energy.
The last oak of many years sheltered until the 19th century in the side a statuette of the mother of God.
Piety and veneration materialised by a flamboyant sea of candles.
The tree perishes, burnt by this habit in year 1898.
Its wood shot was debited and kept guarded as relic.
