First Flight II

In navolging van First Flight is deze cache geplaatst.
Op zondag 27 juni 1909 vliegt Charles de Lambert met zijn Wright Flyer boven Nederlands grondgebied bij Etten en Leur. De vlucht duurt 3,5 minuut en in die tijd wordt er meer dan een kilometer afgelegd. De historische vlucht kenmerkt het begin van de gemotoriseerde luchtvaart in Nederland.
De vlucht werd uitgevoerd als demonstratie ter ere van het 40-jarig bestaan van de suikerfabriek van de heer S.C.J. Heerma van Voss. Hij wilde zijn werknemers en de burgers van Etten en Leur iets bijzonder aanbieden. Een vliegtuig in vlucht over Klappenbergse Heide.
- Het is een drukke weg even opletten met parkeren. De oprit naar de naastliggende woning is GEEN parkeerplaats.
-Verzoek om in stijl te ruilen. Als het maar met vliegen te maken heeft in de breedste zin van het woord.
- De cache is geplaatst met toestemming van de gemeente Etten-Leur.

In mimicry of First Flight this cache has been placed.
On Sunday the 27th of June 1909 Charles de Lambert fly with his Wright Flyer above Dutch area at Etten and Leur. The flight took 3,5 minutes and in that time more then one kilometer has been travelled. The historical flight marks the beginning of the motorized air traffic in the Netherlands.
The flight has been carried out as a demonstration for the celebration of the 40 year existence of the sugar factory owned by Mr. S.C.J. Heerma van Voss. He want to offer his employees and the citizens of Etten and Leur something special. A airplane in flight over the Klappenbergse Heide.
- The road in front is quite busy. Note that an entranceway is NOT a parking place.
- Please trade in style. Anything that has to do something with flying is okay.
- The cache has been place with approval of the municipality Etten-Leur.
