in our disclaimer.
This cache is located in the Darlington County Park in Mahwah. The
park is only open during restricted daylight hours. NOTE:
PARKING FEES AND RESTRICTED HOURS. Current Hours are believed
to be: 10AM-7PM.
The final cache is one of six in a challenge series that will
provide you with the information you need to find the BGCS1 Final mystery cache
(GC235TC). MAKE NOTE OF THE "LETTER=NUMBER" ON THE FRONT OF
THE LOG BOOK.
Stage 1 is a small pill bottle - you should not even need to open
it to read the coordinates for the final. Please re-hide stage 1
& the final at least as well as you found them, or this one
will not last.
This is my first multi-cache hide. It should be quite easy - aside
from the need for superior stealthiness. Please be very careful
when locating the caches to avoid being seen. It was a cold day
with a light rain when I placed this cache - there were still
numerous muggles walking/jogging in the park.
NOTE: You must park in one of the designated areas. It may appear
that you can access the cache from other areas, but it may only be
accessed by using the primary park entrance off darlington avenue -
please avoid nearby private property and golf course.
NOTE: There is a parking fee during the peak park season (Memorial
Day to Labor Day). For free access, do this cache during the
off-season. I believe the park also offers free access after 6:00PM
during the peak season (but you will have limited time before the
park closes).
The cache is so named because of the many exercising "muggles" in
the park and the need for stealth when finding it. On the day I
placed the cache, I was walking back to my car and some kissing
muggles resumed their jogging as soon as they noticed me! (I was a
"muggle" to them - ha!)
