Geocache Description:

2nd of 7 (including a BONUS)

This cache series will take you along the Cwm Lickey Circular walk taking in the industry of The 'Race' area and the community that grew up around it. The Race probably got its name from the mining of iron ore, one of the many industries that developed in this area.

The walk will take you past the Old resevoirs; along disused tram roads; and will give you views of Llandegfedd resevoir and the Momnouthshire hills (on a clear day).

All caches may be completed as part of the series or independantly. For the bonus you will need to collect a clue from each of the log books within the caches to be able to work out the bonus cache co-ordinates.

Cache details: Small screw top camo tube contains log book and pencil only.

*If following the circular walk: From Dave Phillips-Jackson 8 (Cwm Lickey #1) Continue down the other side of the bank and over the footbridge at the bottom. Once over the bridge turn left and follow the way mark pointer to begin an ascend to a stile. Take the path that roughly follows the line of the pylons to the top.

The circular walk includes stiles, and is on well defined footpaths that are either grassy or stoney (where you follow the old tram tracks) which can be uneven in places.
