This is a surprisingly flat area surrounded by so many hills -
easy terrain, parking nearby, quiet and a great spot for a
picnic!
It is one of the progressive regeneration projects around
Wellington City, very successfully converting an old land-fill site
into a young yet awesome recreation area, with paths, bridges,
walkways, raised beds for native plants, pine forests and an urban
community vege garden / plantation.
Why is this a TB Motel?
We have planted (clue) a large cache here as there is a real
shortage of the larger caches nearby for mass exchanges and larger
TBs!
