Columns of stones built one upon the other
Starting near Ifonche and finishing at Taucho (if you want to go that far). This walk has it all..... Stunning views, a stone garden, rock pools and small waterfalls to relax and have picnics beside.
If you have walked in the 'Barranco del Infierno' and arrived at the high waterfall...........you will want to see it all from above. Both are stunning!
Beware, when you are walking above the Barranco as it is very slippery with a lot of pine needles underfoot. So, stay clear of the edges and take care of children. That is not to say that it is very dangerous as I found this place by following a group of 12-14 year olds and their Teachers on a 'school outing'
There comes a point when you drop down and cross where the floodwater comes through. This is a natural spot for a picnic and you will be surrounded by stones piled high upon each other... forming a sort of surreal stone garden.
Gps coverage at this point is bad because of the Trees so you will have to rely on the 'spoiler foto' or your memory to find the large Rock (right on the path) which has a spray painted Green Dot and also a left pointing arrow with the letters TS3. The cache is about 7 - 8 metres back from that.... There should be another pile of stones above it, but do not rely on that only.
Supplimentary Information (from Lacruz18)
If you make a small 2 minute detour at N 28°08.774 and W 016°41.793 taking the path left down, there is a small lake and waterfalls. Very nice place to have a rest and relax (see the gallery photos)
