It is created as a guide to Malmö's Gamla Väster. It
is a non linear adventure where you need to vistit 6 places in
Gamla Väster. Each place has a documented historical
description with pictures and text in the GPS. You can learn about
the history of the site back to year 1500. You can pick the order
of the sites as you wish. When all 6 places are found you walk to
the end point and the coordiantes for the log will appear in your
GPS. Remember, if you do not visit all 6 locations, the end
coordinates will be hidden. At each location, make sure that the
corresponding task is completed. The cordinates and accuracy is not
the best in the narrow streets. Good luck and enjoy the walk. If
you enjoy the wherigo conept there is another cache in Lomma
(called
Svarta Saras Gömma GC20N58) that is more advanced and that
will give you some more challenges.
TIPS: The cartridge is played in an area with high buildings and
narrow roads. This is not the optimal condition for a GPS :-) .
When you are on a location, wait for a pop up message and the task
in the GPS to turn into completed. On some devices (Garmin in
particular) it can take a couple of seconds before the task is
completed where you have to be standing still with a zero in
distance for the location. Always check your tasks before leaving a
location or you risk a walk back to complete the game. You need to
visit 6 locations before you head to the goal (7th location) and
when this is comleted you will be routed to the log.
WARNINg: As the gps signal may be weak, the directions may point
you to roads with trafic. Please be very carefull and do not only
stare at the GPS,there are cars and peolpe around you :-).
