ACT 2000 Club - 1st Edition Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sol de lune: The time has come for this one and it's nearby mate to be retired. The idea was good at the time, but it's time to concentrate solely on the 1000 Club....which is the bigger milestone anyway.

Thanks to all who found this one....I look forward to seeing what can come in here in there place.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above co-ords...........

The first edition of the ‘ACT 2000 Club’ - a mystery cache that highlights those ACT cachers who have managed 2000 finds. The members (to date) of the ACT 2000 club, in no particular order, are:

Tankengine,

Mtbikeroz,

Winglen,

McPhan,

Albida33, and

Sol de Lune

The cache can be at South 35 24 ABC and East 149 08 DEF.

To find the missing co-ords, you will need to find certain info from the particular cachers actual 2000th find.

See how you go.

Tankengine

Tankengine’s 2000th find was sometime in Oct 08.

A = the day of actual find. (e.g. 5th)

Note added 14/1/10.......
Due to a difference between Tankengines GSAK stats and his logs, if, during your search, you find a log that actually mentions Tankengines 2000th find, this will be a different cache from the one I discovered....so if you find a cache with a two number date (e.g. 10th), you will need to divided the date of THAT find by 2.

Mtbikeroz

This 2000th find was made in June 08 and is ( I think) an interestingly named cache.

B = the number of letters in the 3rd word of the cache title.
_______________________________________

Albida33

This 2000th find was made in Feb 09. Once you have the right cache, C = the INDEX on the 15th.
_______________________________________

Winglen

A trio of caches sometime before Anzac Day 2009 saw the McWintrex7 group celebrating Winglen’s 2000th find. And what better way to celebrate than with a cool Splice or two.

When you have the correct cache, D = the number of difficulty stars for the cache.
_______________________________________

Sol de Lune

The 2000th cache was completed during the month horses celebrate their birthday, 2009

E = The first number of the date the cache was found.
_______________________________________

McPhan

The big day was sometime in May 09 when our former cricketing hero, turned cacher, made his 2000th find. As usual (at the time) it was another McWintrex7 group find, and a FTF to boot.

F = the number of letters in the 4th word of the cache title.

Hope you enjoy the research........
