Excellent views over Tidbinbilla and parts of Canberra from up here. Elevation 1160 metres.
Great granite boulders to crawl over as well, but just watch the drop over the sides, it is long way down in some areas.
You will be heading towards yet another towering boulder as you climb towards GZ, and there are a few ways to get to your goal.
1. You can walk up the Devils Gap fire trail from within Tidbinbilla and then head off for a few hundred metres of bush bashing - about 90 minutes for the nimble of foot, maybe a bit longer for others.
2. The straight line approach from the lookout carpark within Tidbinbilla (S35 28.057 - E148 55.012) which took me just over an hour and I think was more fun, as long as you dont mind a few prickles as well as the odd few metres of bush bashing, or
3. From somewhere over on Corin Dam road - (time wise not sure, haven't done it that way) - but you may be able to drive closer to GZ, so it could shorten your trip.
However, whichever you decide to go, the views are worth the trip, as are the boulders.
