Concourson sur Layon est une commune viticole. Elle possède entre autres son église, un moulin encore debout et une aire de repos bordant le Layon. Le Layon est le nom de la rivière qui passe, et aussi un vin.

Je vous propose ici une balade en passant à côté du moulin puis de l'ancien lavoir. Le plus simple est de partir du parking (N 47°10.475' W 0°20.294') en direction du WP1 pour une mise en jambe sportive avec la montée vers les vignes.

Vous pouvez voir une ferme pour l'instant isolée et un château d'eau au loin. Une route partait d'ici pour
aller à cette ferme, mais elle a été enlevée au profit d'un prochain grand axe routier.

Pour revenir au parking il vous suffit de continuer à descendre le chemin en passant juste à côté de la mairie.

Concourson sur Layon is a wine-producing village. It has its church, a still standing windmill and a lay-by next to the Layon. The Layon is the name of the river, and also a French wine.

I propose you a walk going near the windmill and then the old washing place. The simplest way is to go straight from the parking (N 47°10.475' W 0°20.294') on the way to WP1 for a healthy warming-up with the climbing towards the vineyard.
