Great Copper Rush Registration

For those unfamiliar with the event: It is a 3 day caching Event where you can get up to 150 caches, with other numerous activites such as pancake breakfast, movie nights, meet & greets. Very family friendly!

The Tulameen Turtles Annual Caching Endeavour will this year lead you through the historic Similkameen Valley highlighting the areas of historical importance. They will be working again with the local musuem & historians to identify the areas that have the stories to tell and help you walk through history on a virtual caching history tour.

The Great Coal Rush of 2009 the had approximately 150 cachers attend the event, this year they estimate between 250-300 Cachers will be attending. There will be 4 different “runs” and each person that is joining them that weekend will have their itenerary based on what they are able to do.

There will also be activities such as Pancake Breakfasts, Movie Nights Under the Stars and other things - one of our goals is to ensure that the non caching family members can enjoy the weekend as well.

Base Camp will be at the Princeton Fairgrounds! And we will be helping to Celbrate Princeton's 150th Birthday!

Included will be:

•Car Friendly – Which means that you require no special equipment to get these caches, as well as there are no mobility issues. (So no grinding hikes)
•Hiking Caches – These caches will require you to put some > effort into obtaining the caches through distance or a grind
•4x4 Caches – These Caches appeal to the offroader, but no special equipment is need – they just need a bit more clearance then the average Honda Civic has (Unless you are Grafinator!)
•Whipsaw Run – The Whipsaw Run will be over the Whipsaw Trail – it is one of the best rated trails in North America and offers some amazing Locations to see and a few unique challenges. Quads will be very welcome on this portion. If you are wanting to be guided this run will be occuring on Saturday for those that would like to do it as a group. If you are not going with the group you will require a minimum of 2 vehicles.

Cost to attend is $5 per adult, Children under 18 are free.

This cost covers the basics of location & supplies to run the event.

Information regarding Coins, Camping & T-Shirts can be found on the Website for the event
