“Vrbická pivní“ multi cache – na uvedených souradnicích se cache nenachází, cache najdete po vyluštení 5-ti úkolu. Tato cache Vás zavede na približne 40-ti minutovou procházkou po vesnici Vrbice, okres Nymburk (pro autonavigace).
Pokud možno vkládejte do kešky predmety s pivní tématikou (tácky, otvíráky atd.), ale urcite to není podmínka !

Vrbice patrí mezi nejstarší osady na Podebradsku. Kdy byla obec založena, nelze ale s urcitostí ríct. Nejstarší známá zpráva z r.1305 uvádí, že král Václav II. odkázal dva podíly na Vrbici kapitule pražské.
Vrbice is one of the oldest villages in the Podebrady region. We don't know exactly when the village was established. The oldest known evidence is from the year 1305 – king Vaclav II granted two of Vrbice's parts to the Prague canonty.
Roku 1732 bylo v obci 180 obyvatel. Roku 1771 poprvé narízeno ocíslovat domy.
Scítáním obyvatel v r.1901 úredne napocítáno 108 císlovaných domu a bylo zde 592 obyvatel a to 272 mužu a 320 žen. Od r. 1864 má obec samosprávu. Obec spravuje zastupitelstvo v cele se starostou.
V r. 1912 byla v obci provedla elektrifikace.
There were 180 residents in 1732. In the year 1771 there was a census of residential houses. Through a similar census in 1901 were counted 108 houses with 592 residents. From 1864 the village has had governed itself. In 1912 the village received electricity.
Rok 1992 prinesl radu významných událostí, z nichž prvoradou je odtržení (po 16-ti letech) od strediskové obce Opocnice – zde naleznete také velmi zajímavou (trošku složitejsí) multi-cache Opocnické toulky. Volby do obecního zastupitelstva obce Vrbice se konaly 29.2.1992. Pocet obyvatelstva trvale hlášených v obci se od r.1992 až po dnešní dobu výrazne nemení, ciní približne 178 obyvatel.
1992 brought a lots of remarkable events. The main one is the separation (after 16 years) from the central village of Opocnice – here is a very nice (a little bit difficult to find) multi cache too – Opocnicke Toulky (but only in the Czech version). Elections to the local-government were held on Februar 29th. 1992. The number of residents from 1992 to the present hasn't dramatically change, it's approximately 178.
Dominantou Vrbice je urcite kostel (kousek od kostela se nachází naše cache) – tato stavba se nachází na kopci a jelikož je to témer jediný kopec v okolí, je tento kostel videt na velmi velkou vzdálenost. A ted ješte trochu historie:
The dominating factor of Vrbice is definitely the church (the cache is located near the church) – this building is located on a small hill and because this hill is almost the only one in the area, you can see the church from a long distance. And here is some historic information:
Základní kámen (do kterého byla vložena listina a 5 mincí) kostela byl položen 21.10.1888. Stavba byla dokoncena koncem srpna 1890. 4.9.1890 byly preneseny zvony na novou vež. Kostel byl vysvecen 23.8.1891 podebradským vikárem za úcasti 9 kneží a zasvecen opet sv.Havlu.
The foundation-stone (where a scroll and 5 coins were once inserted) of the church was layed down on October 21th. 1888. The construction was finished during the end of August 1890. On September 4th. 1890 bells were transported to the new tower. The church was dedicated on August 8th. 1891 by the Podebrady's vicar with an audience of 9 priests and was dedicated again to st. Havel.

Parking coordinates lead you almost to the center of the village, to the pub U Lípy. This pub is normally opened during evenings, but there is no kitchen food. You can park your car there.

Tento letní parket je troufám si ríct po dobu letních mesícu nejvetší chloubou Vrbice. Každocne se zde koná približne 8 tanecních zábav pod otevrenou oblohou. Na hospode U Lípy bývá behem léta vyvešen i seznam koncertu.
A ted už otázka - z kolika stran se muže vstoupit (vhodem) na ctvercový „tanecní“ parket (betonový plácek)?
