St Simon and St Jude Church at Quendon originates from the 13th Century and is of flint elevations with a tiled roof and a wooden spire. Above the chancel are the coats of arms of the De Mandeville and De Bohun families.
The cache is a 35mm film canister and is not hidden in the churchyard. It contains a pencil. There is parking at Quendon Church. The road up to the church does look a bit like someone's driveway but there is a white sign saying Quendon Church on the telegraph pole opposite the road entrance at N51.57.222 E0.12.157. If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
