In the grand tradition of hiding a Silver Ammo Can to recognize
major milestone finds, this cache is placed as a tribute to my very
dear friends maryufaust and Quilting is fun too! I've shared countless hours,
adventures, and caching memories with Mary and QIFT, and consider
myself very blessed indeed to have them in my life.
Recently, Mary found her 3,000th cache and QIFT just passed
2,000. So when Seeingitdifferent offered up ammo cans for a couple
of tribute caches, I jumped at the chance to create this combo
tribute cache instead. And since 5,000 is such a cool number, I
couldn't help but create an appropriately-themed puzzle around the
dual milestone. As an added bonus and as an appropriate tribute to
my two friends, I've also stuffed this cache full of pretty pink
toys and trinkets.
Please note, this cache is placed on private property. However,
the property owner picked the final hide location and specifically
asked me to put a cache there, so how could I refuse? :-) You will
find lots of room for your car at the park across the street. From
there it's a straight shot down the park driveway, across the
street, across the open space, and to the cache location. The
property owner is the house on your right, and they hope you enjoy
your time here in their backyard. The puzzle starts
below...congrats again to Mary and QIFT, and as always: thanks,
have fun, and happy hunting!
