This is part of my Vermont Fish Series. I have caught 1 Sheepshead in my life. It was huge, and really fun to reel in. Imagine my dissappointment at the fact that it wasn't really good to eat. I guess they make good soup, but the one I caught went back. The Vt. State record Sheepshead is 20.46 lbs. It was caught from Mallets Bay, Lake Champlain on 7-22-2001.
