Le cache se situe à proximité de la Chapelle du Pont,
édifice du 12ème siècle, avec des fresques du 14ème et 15ème
siècles. Bien qu'il est possible d'arriver à proximité par la
route, si vous souhaitez faire une courte ballade à travers la
forêt de chataigners, chênes et hêtres (environ 3km aller-retour),
suivez la proposition ci-dessous.
Garez la voiture au lieu-dit 'Le Ramier' (à 5kms de Boisset) où
débute le sentier à N 44°45.168', E 002°16.369' (A
côté d'un petit bâtiment de pierre en ruines)
Continuez à descendre le chemin à travers la forêt. En arrivant
au niveau de la très jolie rivière Rance, parsemée de roches,
traversez la route et suivez le panneau indiquant la Chapelle du
Pont.
La Chapelle peut se visiter pour voir les fresques intérieurs,
mais se renseigner à la Mairie de Leynhac pour les horaires etc
The cache is hidden near the 'Chapelle du Pont', a
12th Century chapel, with 14th/15th Century frescoes. Although it's
possible to drive almost right up to the Chapel, if you feel like
going for a short walk through the leafy forest with its chestnut,
oak and beech trees, follow the directions below (about 3kms round
trip).
Park in the small hamlet of 'Le Ramier' (5kms from Boisset)
where the path begins at N 44°45.168', E
002°16.369' (Next to the ruins of a small stone
building).
Carry on descending the path through the forest. When you arrive
at the picturesque river Rance, cross the road and follow the signs
to the 'Chapelle du Pont'.
The chapel is open to visitors at certain times to see the
frescoes, information is available at the town hall (Mairie) in
Leynhac
