Just past the long natural staircase and tea stand. Above the last easy overlook sits this geocache just a short climb up.
After Petra, Al Beidha or Little Petra is the next most important site for the casual visitor in Wadi Musa. This site is only a few kilometers from Petra and easily accessible by taxi or rented car. It is literally hidden away in the center of a mountain.
We reached Little Petra by horse. We rented five horses and made the trek up the road , through the Bedoin village, and on to Little Petra. Once you get to the entrance you can easily find the cache in 30 minutes. Our guide by the name of Mohammed was a good horsemen and offered us a fair price for the five hour ride and even treated us to a Bedoin BBQ that afternoon with his brother. If you need a horse guide his number is 072 950 0237. He now is aware of geocaching and knows the location of the cache.
Of course you can reach Little Petra by car as well. Along the route is the remains of a Crusader Castle off the highway.
