Geocache Description:

Another rarely visited beauty, it is level terrain adjacent to Six Mile Creek.

This rare gem of a Forest and "creek" is a bubbling small river with large hardwood bottom forest. You will escape the developed world for awhile on this walk.

Park at trail head atN34.45.422 W082.51.481 (the trailhead is before wildcat creek between the ccc bridge over six mile creek and wild cat creek, trailhead is on the six mile creek side of the small ridge not the wildcat creek side of the ridge) and hike up the forest road. You will have to cross the creek (SEE NOTE BELOW) one time. Follow the road along the creek (look for white trail markers) at each fork take the forks that follow the creek. Do not cross the creek the second time where one road crosses the creek take the western side of the creek road. Park at N34.44.464 W082.52.090 in winter due to closed gate and walk down road to trail head (will add several miles to hike).

As you near the end 1.8 miles in watch for the trail to head off to the right on a single track trail. The falls is on the blue trail to the right. 2.9 miles round trip on fairly level terrain, rated terrain higher because of the creek crossing.

NOTE: You will have to cross Six Mile Creek which is about 6-10 inches deep depending on rain and about 20 feet wide. Prepare to get wet feet or have high boots. No bridge or rocks to cross creek.
