Zu Ehren der »Höhlenjungfrau« wurde eine kleine Kapelle in den Fels geschlagen, genannt „Ermita de la Virgin de la Cuevita“. Ein schmaler Weg führt von der Iglesia de San Matias rund einen Kilometer lang die Felsen entlang zur kleinen Kapelle für die Schutzheilige von Artenara.
Besonders erlebnisreich gestaltet sich die Anfahrt nach Artenara von La Aldea her. Bei einem Zwischenstopp an der Staumauer des Embalse de Paralillo bieten sich die herrlichsten Ausblicke auf die heiligen Berge von Gran Canaria, den „Roque Nublo“ und den „Roque Bentaiga“.
