(Please include
reminiscences of caching adventures with Dave, or mention your
favorite DWB hide in your log entry.)
The cacher formerly known as “dachebo”
has always been “Dances With Beehives” to me. When I first started
caching I didn’t know a lot of cachers, so I learned from their
hides. I learned a lot from Dave’s hides, which are almost always
challenging. Usually he takes you on a nice walk through a
beautiful area you never knew existed. Unless it’s a puzzle cache
in which case he leaves you chained to your desktop bewildered for
hours. (;-) A few years back Dave frequently attended caching
events and still does on occasion. Dave and I have only met a few
times, usually on FTF runs. All I know is he’s a real nice guy and
probably has forgotten more about caching then I have learned. I
know he has the respect of all the veteran cachers out there and
even though I don't know him well, I’m glad I could do him this
honor.
