The lid has to be opened and closed slowly. Roll the logbook and put it into the lid. After that close the lid. There is no ink pad in the cache. Use your own ink pad. THE STAMP STAYS IN THE CACHE !!!
Achtung !!! Der Deckel muss langsam Stück für Stück geöffnet und verschlossen werden. Logbuch rollen und in den Deckel stecken und dann zumachen. Benutze Dein eigenes Stempelkissen. DER STEMPEL BLEIBT IM CACHE !!!
The Sprinkenhof - largest "Kontorhaus"
This monstrous building is the largest of its kind in the Kontorhaus quarter, and takes up two complete blocks. Sprinkenhof also spans the Springeltwiete street. It was built in three stages from 1927-1943 by the famous local architect Fritz Höger. Its brick facade is covered with terracotta arranged to look like a net. The interplay of color and light, and the inner courtyard's gold-plated stones, and beautiful windows make this building totally unique.
Der Sprinkenhof – das größte Hamburger Kontorhaus
Das Kontorhausviertel gehört zu den eindrucksvollsten Bauensembles der 1920er Jahre. Unter dem Bebauungsplan Fritz Schumachers entstand eine geschlossene Bebauung, die durch riesige Baumassen und die expressionistischen Formen der Backsteinfassaden geprägt ist. Das größte Gebäude ist der 1927-31 durch Fritz Höger sowie Hans und Oskar Gerson errichtete Sprinkenhof. Dessen Fassade ist zum Teil durch ein netzartiges Backsteinmuster überzogen, in dem vergoldete Embleme Motive aus Wirtschaft und Verkehr zeigen.
