A good uphill hike and scramble to a hill top half way between Pendeli and Nea Makri. Great view from the cache, 780m above sea level, over east Pendeli, north to Marathon, and the Attica eastern coast line. A large area of the damage from the fires in the summer of 2009 can be seen. Very moving.
Good mountain biking in the area.
