Mezi Ceským lesem a Šumavou se jakoby ve stínu vetších pohorí krcí méne známá, ale o to pritažlivejší Korábská vrchovina. V okolí Kdyne jsou na strmých vrcholcích kopcu casto skryty zríceniny hradu, které jen podtrhují historickou významnost tohoto kraje.
Tato série však nemá za úkol navštevovat zríceniny hradu, ale zavede vás na méne známá místa a vrcholky kopcu a seznámí vás s jejich zajímavostmi a výhledy. Když se zeptáte kohokoli na zajímavosti v okolí Kdyne, vyjmenuje s nejvetší pravdepodobností turisty vyhledávané lokality jako je Koráb s jeho rozhlednou, restaurací a turistickou ubytovnou, zbytky hradu Nový Herštejn, terénní pozustatky dreveného hradište Príkopy a Rýzmberk s jeho dochovanou veží starého hradu s úžasným výhledem, príma hospudkou a amfiteátrem. Kdo z nich však navštívil Škarman, Kravar, Starou Horu, Certuv vrch, Knežskou Horu, Bezný nebo Cepici ?
Tretí cache ze série VKV vás zavede na Certuv vrch do výšky 749 m.n.m mezi Modlínem a Branišovem. Odtud je nádherný výhled z balvanité paseky, zejména pak na severovýchodním svahu kopce. Spatrit odtud mužete vesnice Úsilov, Mezholezy, Rudoltice a Cerníkov nad kterým se tycí Malý a Velký Kourim se zríceninou hradu Ruchomperk. Kousek vpravo je videt Pušperk jehož lesy ukrývají další stejnojmennou zríceninu hradu.

Jen pro zajímavost, na puli cesty mezi Korábem a Certovo Vrchem se nachází Špandava (WP) se svými 774 metry nejvyšší vrchol Korábské vrchoviny, o více jak metr vyšší než Koráb.
Záleží pouze na vás, zda zvládnete celou sérii s detmi na procházce behem nekolika dnu ci zda to dáte vše za jediné odpoledne na kole nebo si pujdete jen tak zabehat. Doufáme jen, že to pro vás bude príjemne strávený cas.

Between both national parks of Šumava and Ceský Les is situated Korab's upland which is very interesting even if it is lesser known. There are many ruins of knight's castles hidden in the forest on top of the steep slopes that point out the historic significance of this region. It is not the purpose of this cache to visit ruins but; take you to the places out of public interest with beautiful views and deep history. If you ask the locals about their city and surroundings they start to talk about well-known tourist destination as Korab with hostel and lookout, ruins of New Herštejn Castle, the remains of the fortified settlement Hradište or even about Rýzmberk castle with its well persevered high watchtower offering amazing views, amphitheatre and pub. However, who of them have ever visited Škarman, Kravar, Stará Hora, Certuv vrch, Knežská Hora, Bezný or Cepice ?
Third cache of VKV Series direct you to Certuv vrch (Devil‘s hill) up to the high of 749 meters above sea level which is placed between Modlin and Branisov. From northern side where the cache is placed are wonderful sights.
From this place you can see small villages Usilov, Mezholezy, Rudoltice and Cernikov . Straight behind Cernikov you can see both hills, Maly and Velky Kourim with ruins of castle Ruchomperk. On the left side of Velky Kourim you will be able see Pusperk hill whose forest hides the ruins of castle Pusperk. On both of them you can find another caches.
Noteworthy is as well Spandava hill which is situated on the half way between Korab and Certuv vrch – this is the biggest hill of Korab’s upland and with his 774 meters is 1 meter higher than Korab.
It’s depending on you if you finish this series on the walk with children within a few days or if you manage this on bike or running within a few hours. We only hope you will enjoy the expierence.
