Encuentra el cache CALVARIO de COPACABANA - Seras recompensado con un paisaje sobre Copacabana y el Lago Titicaca.
Find the cache CALVARIO de COPACABANA. - You will be rewarded with a breathtaking view above Copacabana and above the Titicaca Lake.

CALVARIO de COPACABANA

En Copacabana puedes ver el Calvario, todos conocen este famoso Calvario. El Viernes Santo miles de personas viajan o caminan desde la ciudad de La Paz hasta este Calvario, una distancia de 158 km. Si tu no quieres caminar éste 158 km, puedes empenzar en la Plaza de Copacabana. Desde la plaza puedes encontrar el cache entre 50 minutos.
El calvario empieza en una capilla roja a final de calle Destacamento. En las primeras gradas un hombre puede ver tu futuro con hojas de coca o en una taza con café. En las estaciones puedes ver como las personas oran y lanzan pierdras a las cruzes.
Desde el mas alto punto donde hay muchos cruzes y muchas personas necesitas 10 minutos para encontrar el cache. En este lugar no hay personas, entonces puedes disfrutar el paisaje.

Pd. Encima del Calvario es recomendable ver el atardecer a las 17:40 h. Toma una foto de atardecer y grabar la foto a este pagina de web.

CALVARIO de COPACABANA

In Copacabana you can see the Calvary Hill, this Calvary Hill is very well known in Copacabana. On Good Friday, thousands of pilgrims journey to Copacabana - some on foot for the entire 158km distance from La Paz. If you don’t want to walk 158 km, you can start at the Plaza Copacabana. From this plaza you cant find the cache within 50 minutes.
The trail to the summit begins near the red chapel at the end of Calle Destacamento. At the bottom of the stairs, a man can tell your future by reading the coca- or tealeaves. At the Stations of the Cross you will see pilgrims who are throwing stowns at the cross.
At the top of the Calvary Hill there are many crosses and many people, from here you need 10 minutes to find the cache. At that place there are no people, so you can enjoy the view. .

P.S. I recommend the sunset at the top of the Calvary Hill circa at 17:40 h. Take a picture from the sunset and upload the picture at this web-page.
