Cette petite fontaine constituait l'entrée monumentale des granges des Gouttes-Hautes. Elle daterait du XVIIème siècle.
Les Gouttes-Hautes, construites au XIème siècle, étaient les plus importantes des granges de l'Abbaye de Morimond. Elles servaient à stocker les récoltes et l'eau, mais aussi principalement de domaine viticole (les vignes de l'abbaye etaient sur le coteau). La maison forte qui existe encore servait de résidence d'été à l'Abbé de Morimond.
Comme toutes les granges de l'Abbaye, elle ont été vendues à la révolution.
ENGLISH VERSION
This little fountain made up the monumental entrance of the Gouttes-Hautes barns. They would date back to the 17th century.
Built during the 11th century, the Gouttes-Hautes were the most important barns of the Morimond Abbey. They were used to store the harvests and water, but also and mainly wine (the vineyards of the abbey were located on the hillside). The fortified house which still exists served as a summer home for the Morimond Abbot.
Like all the barns of the abbey, they were sold during the Revolution.
