There is a nice hiking trail up to crater Eldborg, starting from the farmhouse Snorrastaðir. The hike is about 1,5 to 2h and very easy. From the top of the crater you've got a wonderful view over the Eldborghraun and towards Snæfelsjökull. If you start the trail close to the farmhouse Snorrastaðir you'll find the cache after 5 minutes walk on the left side from the footpath.
