Geocache Description:

This cache forms part of a 5 mile walk around Wisley and the surrounding area.
You are looking for a small black lock and seal box which contains a logbook, pencil and a few small swap items.

Wisley village dates back to before the domes day book and Neolithic flints have been found in Wisley along with a Roman Burial ground.
It is now mainly owned by the RHS and rented to staff who work in the famous gardens.
The walk starts in the centre of the village and follows a footpath out to the boundary of Wisley Common passing the local archery field and plant trials before crossing over the M25. Once over the M25 follow the path through fields and turn left to once again cross the M25 back onto Wisley Common. The route then crosses over the busy A3 onto Ockham common, passing Boldermere lake and onto Wisley Airfield before returning below the A3 back towards to village going between the gardens and the Golf course.

The only place for refreshment along the route is at Ockham Bites on the Ockham side of the A3. Toilets are also available here.
