A simple straightforward cache on a popular local bridlepath between Caldecote and Bourn. Although the terrain was hard and dry when the cache was first placed during an Indian Summer, this track can become VERY muddy during winter.
This bridlepath is known locally as Bourn Drift, hence the name of the cache. A family tradition of ours is to do this pleasant yet unspectacular walk on Christmas Eve every year, It can also be a good link between two series of multicache, Caldecote Camoflage and Bourn to be Riled.
Cache is a clip lock plastic container and should please younger cachers due to the amount of small toys. There is also an FTF pin badge as a reward.
Look out for Muggles on horse, bike, running shoe and even in planes or microlites!! Also popular with Woofles.
If you are coming by car, there is parking in Caldecote
