Geocache Description:

What: A Social Event

Who: Everyone is encouraged to come and socialize

When: Saturday, December 5th - 2009

Where: Park Tavern, St. Louis Park

How do you get dealt in?

We will be hiding 7 standard temporary caches throughout the area for those who wish to play.
Cache coordinates will be released, one per day, in the week prior to the event.
We won't be putting cards in the caches, instead they will contain tickets you will take to indicate you visited that individual cache. One ticket from each cache per cacher please.
We ask that you sign the logbook at each cache.
Bring your tickets to Park Tavern at 4:30pm on Saturday, December 5.
At that time, you will be able to select cards determined by the number of tickets you bring in.
Not completing all the caches will not disqualify you. You will just be playing with a limited hand.
We will be playing several games of poker and prizes will be awarded for the best hands in each game.
We will be relying on the good nature of geocachers to accept the cards they draw.

Mystery Cards

For the Puzzle Hounds, each temporary cache will contain a clue needed to solve the Mystery Puzzle. The Mystery puzzle will be added to the cache page the day of the event. The first 20 cachers to find the Mystery Puzzle Cache may take one Mystery Card and bring it to the event.

Wild Cards

For the FTF Hounds, Each temporary cache will contain a Wildcard as a FTF prize. Additional Wildcards will be placed in the temporary caches throughout the week including the day of the event. What is a Wildcard? Bring yours to the event and find out! (If you have already found a Wildcard, Please leave any others for someone else).

The first temporary cache will be posted on this event page Sunday, November 29th. A new temporary cache will be posted each subsequent day, up to and including the day of the event. A note will also be posted each time new coordinates are added, allowing you to receive instant notification of the post. To receive the instant notification, be sure to add this page to your watch list.
