Greenberg Island Cache
THIS CACHE IS IN
WILLIAM O'BRIEN STATE PARK
PARK FEE REQUIRED
This Greenberg Island cache is on an Island that was donated by the Greenberg Island family. Years ago there was a bridge crossing the channel from the main land. One of the park staff told me that there is a plaque at the site of this cache. If anyone finds it send post the coordinates and I will add them to the page. The bridge was removed partly because the floodwaters in the spring washed it away often. In the spring this island is often under water.
WARNING: THIS CACHE WILL BE DISABLED WHEN CONDITIONS OF THE RIVER BECOME DANGEROUS. THAT WOULD BE WHEN ICE IS ON THE RIVER AND SPRING FLOOD.
This cache has been approved by the
William O'Brien State Park Staff and the DNR.
A special thanks to the staff at William O’Brien SP
for their help in placing this cache and there promotion of geocaching.
